| Registered User New Member | Hello all, As the title says, I consider myself a new woodworker. I took wood shop in high school more than 25 years ago but I'm relearning everything. I've got a TS, SS, CMS and a few hand held power tools. I just got a Hitachi KM12VC. I'm still waiting on the bits. I've got plenty of scrap wood to practice on and look forward to picking everyone's brains for tips. Actually, I've got a 1st question. Can I drill a hole in a piece of ply, drill screw holes and mount the router to that and clamp it in my workmate for a VERY basic router table to get the feel for the router? Thanks in advance, mikeg Last edited by mikeg; 02-23-2006 at 02:30 PM. |
