| Registered User | I found this forum looking for router reviews. I have been woodworking for several years not using the router that often, I would like to change that. I will be building new doors for my kitchen cabinets. I will be buying a new router that has a 1/2" collet for the rail & stile bits, my router now only has a 1/4". I am leaning at the Craftsman Professional 2-1/4 hp 12 amp Variable Speed Router Kit, Sears item #00926620000 Mfr. model #1617-12. Sale price $199.00. I can use the fixed base on the table & plunge out of table. Any thoughts on this selection are welcome. Thanks for the great site. Ed |
