From what I have seen so far, Woodworking channel, the books and magazines that I have picked up to try and learn something about the hobby of wood working I am almost overwhelmed by what I have seen.

As you can tell I am new to all this, have some tools, and a lot of desire, who knows how far all this will. With a lot of help, this site and some good advice I am sure that I will enjoy every bit of the experience.

I am recently retired, former military turned truck driver where I spent many years on the open road seeing the land that I love, and lore that is attached to it.

Now with my wife in the background watching all that I do, and hoping that I will not be underfoot sitting around doing nothing all day I am ready to try this new and exciting hobby. Hello to all, and have a great day.

So much to do and so little time. The household is on the edge all the time and now I am going to make some time for myself, been away for a while, but will try to do better and really get involved. Just read an article about templates and guides and found it to be most interesting. Will have to try some of what was said and see how I do. With all this help available I know I will do OK...
