Question a member of 2 years but never posted a question. Here goes...(PC 695/bosch table)

Okay. It's past time to try posting a question to fellow router users.
I,ll post my first question to those who have porter cable 695 mounted to new bosch RA 1171 router table.
After much deliberation to build/buy a good solid router table, I finally decided on the new bosch ra 1171 table. It is now mounted into old router table with more table room. (trying to model after rick's neat set-up)
Trouble is now the rockler 1 1/4" threaded router guide bushing kit shanks will not fit the bosch plastic insert (1", 2", 2 1/2") openings. Of course it appears that additional monies may be spent on the BOSRA1125.7 template guides. Have spent too much in the past trying to make things work out.
Any ideas out there???

BJ, the adapter mentioned only fits Bosch routers and allows them to use PC style guide bushings. The Bosch style guide bushings do not fit into the router table plastic plates, they are used in a quick release adapter on the router itself. I will check the plastic plate out today and post the best solution tonight. As of now my guess is you need to open the mounting hole to 1-3/16" and countersink a 1-1/4" hole half way through the plate.

BJ and Mike
Appears that bosch templates work fine with a bosch router attached under the bosch ra1171 nice router table.
However my situation is that I mounted my new PC 895 under the bosch table. Of course the base had to be removed leaving the red various sized plastic inserts to table. Your comment makes sense now. The rockler guide bushings shouldn't attach
into the plastic insert. Does it make any sense to purchase the ra1100 template guides for the PC router. I have purchsed too many routers (3) just to come up with a neat table. But it's just money. thanks for aby ideas.
I know without a doubt a bosch router will not fit into the budget requests with the board of director.....
