Post Howdy howdy howdy

BrazosJake directed me over here from BT3Central. I see I'm not even the second BT'r . Nice looking site. I'm sure there will be much to be learned over here as there is at BTCentral.
I've been butchering wood off and on since about 1976. Sometimes I'm not sure if I know much more now than I did then but it keeps me out of the Gin Mills
In the past few years I've gotten more and more into the hobby again adding a couple of more routers (My Milwaukee is my favorite) but I like my two Dewalts. and the usual array of other tools. The Bt3100 being one of my best finds. Alittle underpowered but it can't be beat.
I'm not sure I'll leave much behind when I go but I intend to fill my four kids houses with all I can build
Looking forward to spending time with you all. Drop by http://www.bt3central.com/default.asp Sam Condor runs a real nice site. Pat

Welcome to Routerforums, hopefully we can learn as much from you as you might from us! Are you currently working on any projects?

That is a yes and no. I started this bed for my oldest son (28) in July, went to the Brickyard 400 on vacation with the intention of finishing it the first weekend back. http://bt3gallery.fhauto.com/view_al...umName=album25 But.... between some family issues and preparing for hurricans that fortunatly have missed us....it's still not done.
Lots of router work on this one. First time with cope and stick bits. First time cutting coves on a Table saw. The design is a bit iffy but my son likes what he sees so far and that's what counts. Pat

Yah, that looks pretty good. From the pictures I saw it looks like a pretty good design.
