| Registered User | I am new at router work. I like building things! I found Router Workshop one day going through the TV stations late one night and have made sure I watched the TV program every change I had. I have not be able to locate a TV broad cast for some time. I would like to get good at using the router as you are. When I retire I would like to make projects to sale at craft shops and flee markets. I am from Ohio and I like to work with my hands when I get the time. Thank you for the Router Workshop. |

You can view some RWS episodes on the "thewoodworkingchannel.com" . I know what you feel, they stopped showing them here in my part of Ohio. Where in Ohio are you located?

| Senior Moderator Supreme Forum King | Welcome Pat. To record a program on your computer you need the software to capture video. The best I have found is "Snag it", a modestly priced program that is very easy to use. You will also need DVD burning software such as Nero or NTI's Dragon Burn. These programs usually come with a DVD burner drive but can be purchased. To round out your DVD burning library you can download 2 free programs which make this process easier: DVD Shrink and DVDFab Decrypter. Newer multimedia PC's will have everything you need built in. Good luck.

Hi Pat It can be done, you can find all of info on the Net how to do it BUT it takes new hardware and software for your PC and a BIG HD, videos eat space by the tons.. and you need a great hookup to the Net. (T1 is the best) so to say if you want to play you must step up to the pump. You maybe best off just to buy the videos VHS or DVD's from OaK-ParK Just a NOTE****if you do have a Newer Computer System take a look at the software below,, Audio Video Streaming Capturing can be tricky but the software below will do it, but it's NOT free software but you can download the demo ver. free and then if you like it you can pay for it at about 50.oo bucks. I use CapureWiz all the time I and I like it. 5 stars out of 5 stars. Record, Schedule and Convert All Kinds of Streaming Video and Audio http://www.applian.com/replay-av/index.php CaptureWiz 1.11 http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M...aptureWiz.html IphotoDVD http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Reviews/r3418.html Hope this helps a bit. ![]() Bj ![]() Last edited by bobj3; 12-13-2006 at 02:49 PM. | |
