| Registered User New Member | Hi I'm a retaired cabinetmaker. I was in business for 40 years. I always enjoyed woodworking, but got very tired of the business end of it. I sold by business 2 years ago, now I have a small hobby shop in my garage and just love it. I have been building doll furniture for my granddaughters. I will sent pictures when I learn how to do it. W e l c o m e . . A b o a r d !! Making small stuff like that is fun... I recently made a small driver golf club that fit into the top of a trophy... it was about 6" long... quite a challenge... I made the club head out of Walnut (big Bertha style), drilled hole for shaft mounting, etc. Shaft was Maple... glued to head with epoxy... tried acrylic finish... NO GOOD! Had to scrape it off... ended up using a black permanent marker... good color (like stain) and dried instantly... then waxed it... looked like a Pro made it! No Power equipment used! It would be nice to see some of your little furniture sometime when you can. | |

| Official Greeter Supreme Forum King | Hello Jerry and welcome to the group. I can see by your pictures that you will be an asset to the forum. The furniture looks like it might have been made by a professional cabinetmaker. LOL Great work.

| Registered User New Member | I'm not sure if this is working. I send pictures of pine furniture I have built. Tried to send pictures of Oak furniture, but when I tried to upload them it said the file was to large. Will try and scan some pictures and try again. If someone is getting these pictures please let me know if I'm doing this right Hobbyhorse |
