Been a member for over a year. It is only after a reminder that i have finally got round to making my first post.
I am a retired carpenter, Having to give up work due to an asbestos related health problem. I havn't let that keep me out of the workshop.
I make Bandsawn Boxes on my bandsaws ( i have 3 in my workshop )
I live in the south island of New Zealand and work mostly with native timbers
Rimu, Red Beech, and Totora are the varieties i use the most.

G'Day on ya mate and welcome to the RouterForums. I just welcomed another from the South Island [AndyinNZ]. Lives in Christchurch. Anyway, welcome. Maybe you could post some pics of your bandsawn boxes. We have a few members here who like boxes, bandsawn or otherwise.
