My name is Eddie Ball. I am 62 years old and new to woodworking. I have always had an interest in wood and things made from wood but never had the time to do anything about it. I have only had two jobs in my life. For 10 years I was in the military (US Navy) and then after discharge, I came home to Georgia and have been employed by our County for over 33 years. The last 20 as Director of Emergency Communications.

Welcome Eddie from what is normally sunny Western Australia, but at the moment is cold and wet. You didn't mention if you had a shed or tools etc. Please do let us know, even if you don't have either yet, we are a friendly bunch and a daily visit to the forum will normally brighten you're day.
