| Registered User | I started woodworking only around three years ago as I wanted to work for myself and i'm a machinist by trade, I wanted to start my own machine shop but that was not financily possible, My dad had done craft shows for years and I never showed much interest in it until I had a heart attack at 41. I decided I would give wood working a try. Well you will never guess what I discovered. Ok maby you will. I love it, projects are much more beutiful that steel parts and it is alot less expensive to get started into. I havent made enough to quite my day job yet but i'm trying. laserman ![]()

| Official Greeter Supreme Forum King | Laserman welcome to the forums. I would rather smell the scent of fresh cut wood over the smell of hot cut steel any day. Besides, wood is more forgiving than steel. Hope all is well with the heart. Make sawdust and enjoy.
