Default How cool. More great reading to keep me occupied

Just found this great website. I'm sure I'll be spending some time getting info on routing techniques. Other than being a weekend woodworker, I've recently been making guitars and stringed instruments. The more difficult operation when it comes to making guitars, is the need to rout the edges for the binding and purfling that decorates and protects the top and bottom edges around the guitar. So I'll look around here and see if that's been a topic of interest.
Any guitar builders here?

There are several. Postings that may be of special use to you are the jigs and fixtures threads related to templates and guide bushings. Since there are "standard" sizes of some guitars you can create a template that will let you run the inlay around the top in one motion. The best part is it will be perfect every time. Enjoy.
