| Registered User | Hi, I build reproduction 18th C. cannnon carriages for a living. It also allows me to do some blacksmithing and wheelwrighiting. My hobbies are "Blacksmithing and Antique restoration" I prefer Porter Cable routers, because they are extra heavy duty and stand up to making deep routings in white oak, green and air dried. At home I use a dainty 1-3/4 hp craftsman plunge router. It works fine for me. On my router table I have an old Black and decker 1-1/2 that is still going strong. Now at home I do not use a router all that much and at work it is pretty much chamfers and straight bits. I hope to pick up a trick or two from this site. I happen to find this site by accident searching for a new router online. Well that's my story. Nice to meet everyone. Vince |

| Official Greeter Supreme Forum King | 18th C. cannons carriages for a "living". I didn't realize there was that big of demand for them. Anyhow, welcome to the Router Forums Vince. Maybe you can post some pics of these carriages? Glad you had your accident and found this great forum.
