Default Retired and learning woodworking

Hello - I've retired a couple of times unsatisfactorily, but this time it seems to be working. My shop is rudimentary, but operational. After 27y, 9m, 28d in Uncle Sam's Air Force and another 15y in various electronic industries, I know little about wood, but I'm gonna learn.
