I have purchased the freud lock joijnt set which includes drawer lock bit, Reversible glue joint bit, Lock miter bit. I have found out that using the router table by Bob & Rick, I don't have enough room because of the size of these bits to use them. I wonder what the solution to this situatiion is?

Hi Bill

The easy way is to order a new base plate (with the 3 1/4" opening in it) for your router and the Oak-Park table...from Oak-Park..

Or You can always just make your own quick and easy because you have the pattern for it now,,,

Bill, it may be possible to use an auxillary table top. This can be 1/4" or thicker plywood or MDF fastened to your table with double sided carpet tape. Cut the proper sized opening in the top for the bits you will be using. In this situation you would install your bits from the top, provided your router has enough reach to clear the regular mounting plate.

I purchased Freud FT3000VCE 3 1/4 HP Router. I wonder if Bob & Ridk make a face plate to fit this unit and use thier table. I also would like instructions on taking out the springs in this router.

Call the Oak Park office and they can tell you what router plate will fit the router. Also PM member Charles who works for Freud, I am sure he can help you.
