Default New to woodworking

My name is Mike Cavanaugh and I'm new to the woodworking scene. I'm interested on using the router as I've been watching the router workshop on tv. I retired and now have some time on my hands and am willing to learn as much as I can. My woodworking tools are very limited. Any assistance is wanted.

Hi Mike;
Welcome to the forums.
I retired almost 4 years ago, and the first thing Wifey wanted was a lighthouse to replace an old one on the wellhead. Wound up making 8 of em and am finishing another one now.
Every project I've done so far has been something she wanted, except for a few of my own. It's great to have the time to do this stuff. Enjoy.
