| Registered User Jr. Member | Hi everybody. I'm a woodworking hobbyist. I've been outfitting my shop for the last two years and am getting ready to delve into the world of building electric guitars, small and larger furniture, perhaps a bit of carving some day. I've just completed a couple guitar restoration/repair jobs with success. I'm pretty much a rookie when it comes to routing, so I came here to learn. I have a 2.5 horse combo fixed/plunge router set and a benchtop mountable router table. So far, bought a 14 piece carbide set and yesterday one expensive pilot bearing bit for cutting control, pickup, bridge cavities. So, hopefully, this will be my one-stop shopping center for gaining knowledge about the processes, with a big emphasis on safety. Thanks. |

| Registered User Jr. Member | Thanks guys for the welcomes. Here's a work in progress, basically a mockup/test run. It'll end up on the wall in the shop, a fully stringed up, working model, with fake, non-working electronics - a shop clock. The neck is salvage. So, a little routing practice is in order. |
