Default Freud FT2200 in a router station?

Greetings to all...I'm basically a novice router operator and happened on this site while surfing for woodshop tips. I look forward to picking up new ideas and avoiding some of the mistakes new users make by tapping into more experienced operators.
My current question involves my plan to build a router station using the New Yankee Workshop plans. Recently I purchased a Freud FT2200 3 1/4 hp plunge router (not with this application in mind) and now that I have it I'm curious if others have mounted it in similar work stations. Would this be a suitable choice and, if so, are there any concerns or potential problems I should be aware of?
Thanks.
