| Registered User | I have recently set up a new woodshop and have a delta 43-355 shaper given to me by a friend. The spindle guard is broken and I am having trouble locating a new one, delta part (43-440). Any thoughts on where to get one or if it is ok to use the shaper without the spindle guard. Up until now I have used a router table but not a shaper. Thanks |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi AlanO Is that the big thick ring ![]() At one time I had a Grizzly shaper and I broke the one I had , so I picked some A325 Flat washers from a fastners outlet and did a bit of welding and made my own... The A325 washers are bit thicker than most washers and about the same size .. Just a note you should NOT use the shaper without one... | Senior Moderator Supreme Forum King | The first place to try is at the manufacturers parts department. The DeWalt service center handles all parts for Black & Decker, DeWalt, Porter Cable, Delta and DeVilbis. You can visit them by clicking here: http://www.deltaportercable.com/Serv...ndSupport.aspx
