Hi Jose

You can use MDF for all the parts for the shop cabinets that will save you tons of money

3/4" for the frames and 1/4" for the panels or 3/4" MDF for the raised type.

The only bit you will need is the T & G set if you use the 1/4" for the panels.

Make the cabinets in door frame way, sides, face frames, backs, etc.all with MDF.....

Ola, Jose! Welcome to the forums.
If you decide to use MDF, may I suggest that you wear a mask while cutting and milling. MDF dust, as well as any sawdust, is really bad for your lungs. I use a lot of MDF and that stuff is nasty while cutting.
