Hi: A shaper takes shaper cutters. They can be purchased from the same makers of router bits ie CMT, Infinity. Freud. The cutters come in sizes to fit the shaper shaft
which could be 1/2" 3/4" or even 1 inch. I suggest you contact Delta and see if you can get the manual for the 43-120. Good luck with it. Woodnut65

Hi ornan

Delta 43-120 Shaper · 1970's model
Light Duty Shaper, model 43-120 110/220 volt
It takes on the 1/2" bore cutters.......
I had one but it was the Grizzly brand name same as the Delta, they work very well for many jobs..the one I had came with the spring steel hold down device

Hi Mike

He may need to use the link below
But he may have a hard time finding the manuals becuase it's a 30 year old machine

And the Site now has the dumb pass word thing setup
I have been to the site many times but I can't recall my pass word most of the time, I guess I should write it down...but I have so many like you I'm sure and I change them just about every 90 days or so...

I've found that site extremely helpful --
Have a bench-top table saw and a WorkMate worktable that are almost as old as that shaper. Decided to refurbish them both a while back -- had no problem finding numbers for even obscure little parts.

Out of curiosity -- I just checked the shaper that was asked about.
They have exploded art and part numbers - but no on-line version of the manual. They did suggest contacting publications@bdk.com to request one.
