Default hi from the rat!

Hey guys,
I'm real new to woodworking - well its been 25 yrs since highschool & woodworking classes.
I don't even own a router yet but thats gonna be recitified just as soon as i deceide on which router to buy. I've joined a local 'community woodworking shed' & have had a little play with a router for the first time only last week & loved it!
They have a woodrat at the shed & i'm planing on getting right into it this week all being well.
I look forward to seeing you all round the board.

Ratty.

G'day mate and welcome to the Router Forums. Being from down under, things are a little different when it comes to routers. Good luck with your selection, and keep us informed as to what you bought. Where are you located in Oz? Anywhere near Perth?

Thanks for the welcome guys,
we're nowhere near perth, we're in Tasmania. It's the triagularish island south of the main continent of Australia, the 1 that normally gets left off the map. lol.

Hey Ratty, you're not that far from Perth. Only about 2,800 Kilometers in a straight line. You are on my map. South of the main continent and west of New Zealand. Glad to have ya.
