Thumbs up Just Wanted To Say Hello!

My name is Bob Johnson, and I'm just getting into woodworking seriously as a way of learning better, or at least the correct way to do some of the Router work. I have recently gotten interested in box-making, but haven't done much as of this time. I have a self-built router table with a new Incra Jig which I like, but suspect later on I'll opt for a more "precision-adjustable" system. I'm retired AF and recently resigned as Director of Facilities in the Resort/Hosp. industry. Have been searching for new employment, but have been using the time in the interim to read/learn/practice wood-working. Found this site tonight while surfing the net, so thought I'd sign on.
Thanks. BJ

Welcome to the forum, Bob! I'm an ex sputterbutt myself, although I only put in the four year term. Thank you for your service to our country.

Hi Bob

The Incra Jig is a great jig , I and many other members have one BUT do think about getting the Oak-Park box jigs,,,
If you like to make boxes you will love the OP jig(s), it's so quick and easy to use you will make tons of boxes just for kicks...

http://us.oak-park.com/catalogue.html?list=boxj--

You can make just about anysize of boxes from the very small to the very big all with the easy to use OP jigs and just by use a 1/4" bit to a 1/2" bit..
They will come out right every time...be sure to take a look at the video on the OP web page.
