| Registered User New Member | Hello! I want to add a router to my shop but space is tight. I already have a 10" Craftsman Table Saw (#137.221940) and I wonder if there is a router table extension that I could simply attach to the table saw. Thanks, George |

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi George Just make your own that can flip up or down and out of the way,,you can get all the hardware you need from Rockler /Lee Valley locking table hardware would do the job I'm sure. You want to mount the router on a router table moiunting plate so you drop it in place or just pop it out and put it under the work bench to save room... Most of the extensions for table saws are bolted to the table saw, a real room hog..and makes your table saw have a BIG foot print.. =========

A small router table sitting on top of a low bench. When I need table (bench) room for a project I lift off the small router table and slide it under the bottom bench. But then again, my dedication is to the router work. I’ll post a pic if you’re interested. Although a table saw is considered by many as the “centerpiece” of a wood shop some of us aren’t blessed with floor space for it. I opted for a band saw because of floor space. There are some outstanding router tables, small & large, posted on this forum. I’m confident you’ll find a solution.
