| Registered User New Member | Hi all. I live in N. Ca. Just got back into wood working after many years. Had saws and drills stored and then inherited more saws from wifes grandfather. Thought I'd set things up and mess around. Everything works great. I have a Craftsman router (mod.315.25060), runs like new, but needs a locking bar and collet nut. Cannot find the wrench either. Sears discontinued the locking bar, but has the wrench. Anyone know where I could get one (locking bar)? My old shop teacher from High school (35 yrs ago) lives just down the road. I stopped to see him a couple of weeks ago and He was ecstatic at what I was doing. He has been retired for 10 yrs., but once a teacher, always a teacher. He was grinning from ear to ear giving me some tips. Any advice for finding parts would be appreciated. Thanks |

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | Welcome to the forums robbins; You might try e-bay or www.craigslist.com for the parts. Might find one that you can scavenge for parts.

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi robbins in N. Ca. I would suggest you put the router in a box and just use it for parts or trading stock.. By the time you buy the parts you need to use it again you will still have a older router.. ![]() I'm almost sure it will only take on the 1/4" bits and it only has one speed. They have come out with some new routers that are great and that come with 1/4" and 1/2" ,wrench, collets, lights,V.S, control, plunge base, standard base, all at a great price ,about $100.00 at Sears...then you will have the best of both worlds... Here's a link to the one I'm talking about. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...cemldffidflk.0 http://www.routerforums.com/39447-post21.html ============= Quote:

| Registered User New Member | Thanks for the info. gentleman. The router works perfectly, I just need 2 wrenches to change bits. It is easy enough to do, just more time. It doesn't get a lot of use, yet, but may look at other options down the road. Again, thanks |
