djohnsonfire is on a distinguished road

Default Hello from sunny SoCal.

I'm a retired firefighter from the San Diego area. I found this site while searching info on which router to buy,and by far I got the best info from the members here. So like the rest of you, I decided to join and share experiences and look for help. I am currently restoring and replacing the wood windows in my house and will need plenty of help. So far I have restored the fixed and double-hung windows and replaced the single pane glass with low-e insuladed glass. Now comes the fun part, mfg. sliding units from scratch! any ideas?

This is not my strong subject but there will be someone out there with advice and tips.

A warm welcome
