| Senior Moderator Supreme Forum King | Welcome to the forums. JN, your problem is solved with a single router bit designed for making splines. You will find them in all the catalogs. ALKEN, the solution to your problem is to use the existing cut out to make a template which can be followed by a pattern bit or done with a template and guide bushing. You can learn about these techniques in our jigs and fixtures or templates and guide bushing sections.
