Default Good Morning!

Hello,

I've just registered today. A longtime hobbiest and professional. On the pro side, my main focus is loudspeaker cabinetry for both home and pro sound. The current router collection has just expanded to a fourth, the Freud 2200 series, which I'm going to mount into a table attached to the table saw.

Best regards,

John

I'll go out on a limb and predict I'm nothing like "Harrysin" ;>)

In the past, I worked for Intersonics(later to reform for a third time as Servodrive/Sound Physics Labs, Inc.) building cabinets and sub assemblies for a motor driven subwoofer design patented by Tom Danley.
Tom branched out into full range designs that are patented as well, and the current company, Danley Sound Labs, is based outside of Atlanta.
I build prototypes occasionally, and lately have been helping another "Ex Servodrive" clubmember with his new loudspeaker company, JTR Speakers.
I'm also a live sound provider, mostly in the Irish music community here in the Chicago area.

Googling "Servodrive subwoofer" should pull up background on Tom and his designs, and listed below are the names of the other related sites, sans the URL bits:

danleysoundlabs

jtrspeakers

baaltinne

Best regards,

John

Hi John. Sorry, I shouldn't have made a private joke on your first post. Harrysin is a long time (and valued ? ) member of the forum who hasn't been too well recently. Thought a little jibe might cheer him up. Have lots of fun on the forum and let's see what you do. Enjoy yourself.

My deepest apologies to Harry and yourself, I totally misunderstood your post.

My best wishes for Harry's return to good health.

I look forward to reading the forum regularly now, glad to have found it.

Best regards,

John

Welcome to the forums John. You and Harry sound like peas in a pod, or at least the same salad. Harry turned his love of electronics and music into a profitable and respected repair shop with several tech's. He would enjoy discussing high end audio with you on Skype. Harry is a hands on, "I can build that myself" kind of guy and any comparison with him is a compliment. I have no doubt Harry would of become President of Oz if he was tall enough...

P.S. Yes Harry, I know I am a cheeky sot!

Default Re: Mike, your message concerning PM's

I tried to pm Charles the other day to thank him, but then and now trying to reply via pm to your message I was given a "not enough posts" denial to the pm privilege.

Thanks for the help nonetheless.

Best regards,

John
