Just a novice wood worker and need all the help I can receive. My first project is a tool chest to ensure safe-keeping of my woodworking tools. So far I have a wood lathe, turning tools, and most of the necessary hand/power tools necessary to start this project.

Hi Peter;
Welcome to the forums.
I'm getting ready to make a tool chest also. I don't want to screw up a bunch of expensive wood, so I've been practicing making slots and tenons to get ready for the project. The tablesaw and router table will be the primary tools for the job.
