Default new to woodworking

I am new to woodworking just started 2years ago doing stuff at home and buying equipment as I could afford it. I find woodworking very relaxing and rewarding. I plan to start woodworking in the near future as a fulltime job. here is a buffet I made my mother for last christmas. made from white wood and stained cherry with poly finish.the hutch will come later when I learn window sash routing and install. I look forward to learn and grow in this forum. thank you, bill.

G'day, Bill and welcome to the forum. Sorry we couldn't see your buffet but you need to make ten posts before you can post pics (anti-spam precaution). Just say hi to a few new folks on the intros until you get enough posts. Enjoy!

Thank you all for your kind welcome. my pic was to big to post I had to get software to cut it down. My favorite tool in the shop is my shaper. very smooth quite and strong tool. once again thank you.

Hi Bill,

Are you sure you've only been woodworking 2 years, that is a fantastic buffet.

yes 2 years. I have allways wanted to do woodworking. never had the place or money to do it. july 2006 I took a job building cabinets and havebeen buying tools and hooked on making something with my hands that will last a very long time for everyone to enjoy. when someone looks at my work and smiles that my friends makes it worth the time spent to do the job. thank you for the compliment. good woodworking, bill.
