| Registered User Sr. Member | I found this forum while searching for some other information but what a great find. I have completed a number of wood working projects over the years but mostly just refinishing existing pieces. Last year I purchased a couple of decent tools and remembered how much I enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Last week I received a gift card from work and used it to purchase a Porter Cable 893PK router (fixed / plunge). I am a complete novice with this tool and turned it on for the first time today to practice on a piece of scrap. Wow, this could be fun! I am looking for advice and tips so I plan on reading through the forums to get some ideas. I look forward to talking to you folks. Thanks |
