Hey Bob! Thanks for the great Info! I bid on one of the Recreator Carvers listed on E-bay yesterday. I was out bid at the Very last minute by just $ 0.52. My bid was maxed at $51.00 and he must have had a hidden proxy bid maybe up to $55 or $75.
There is another on on E-bay in Michigan that ends Sat. He says "local pick up only". The Corpus Christi , Tex. shipping was $60. ($51.52+$60.00=$111.52). Any idea what the market value (less the router) is on one of these old timers?

Question Craftsman Router Recreator Carving Pantograph

Thanks to all who sent info and links. Thanks to Bob especially since he actually has one "up and running", With Pics. I hope he reads my replies to the "Quick Reply" tab I am using. I am not completely sure how the posts are handled and I did not see some of them where I Expected to see them.
Any one have any Ideas on how much one of these machines are worth in a 'bidding war'? Shipping only is quoted at $60.00.!

HI JD

They should go for about 75.00 dollars,,, but many of the sellers on ebay do like to over charge on shipping.. ,,, not fair in my mind...

After all it only takes a old cardboard box or two...I have sold many items on eBay and fair is fair..it ticks me off sometimes but it takes all kinds of people in this world...

Don't get into a big rush and you will find a great deal...on ebay...or on

If it's to be it will be.. the good things do come to one who waits...

Here's a tip I use on eBay,, I have 4 windows open on a item that I want and it's hard for me to get out bid...
Plus I do my home work on the other bidders that want the same item...
The way they have bid on other items in the pass is a good tip off...
