I'm the new guy here and found this forum while searching for plans for a propeller duplicator. I'm intrested in avaition and wooden airplanes as well as general home based building projects. I have a good bit of experence with metal and wood projects but none with routers, now I need to learn the ins and outs of what works and doesn't work with them.

A warm welcome Joe

The router is quite an amasing tool and has the ability to do so much more than make fancy edges. Just ask and there is always someone willing to give you an answer or their opinion.

The down side of a router " it can't fly". HUM! ..... mind you I have felt like tossing it a few times, to test it out, as I made a mistake, near the end of a project.

Have a great day, and welcome.

Welcome Joe,

The beauty of the router is that as you progress through a project the tension builds so any mistake can undo some nice work. It's like going to a hockey game and your team is hanging on under a barrage of shots on net and your goaltender is making save after save......oh wait a minute.....is this the router forums?

Sorry, crazy Canuck got carried away for a moment, missing my hockey.

Anyway, welcome to the best site on the net.

Ed......:-)
