I'm Fred, and I enjoy learning how to build better and more interesting wood working projects. So far, I've built only utilitarian things such as a work bench, and a variety of small projects of no special note.

I have a small shop with a contractor type table saw (craftsman), a router table and porter cable 890 router ( a Rockler combo package), and various other power and hand tools. My current project is an entertainment unit which I'm building from my own plans.

I'm now interested in making more use of my router; unfortunately, to begin with I managed to make my move without packing the manual for the porter cable 890 and am in the process of researching the necessary information. Any pointers or suggestions in this regard will be much appreciated.
