| Registered User New Member | Hi everyone, my name is Scott and I'm from Maryland's Eastern shore. I just purchased a Porter Cable 892 router and it seems pretty functional. Once I get a handle on using the bits, things should become more enjoyable lol. I think I may be buying a router table next as that seems like a nice feature from what I've been reading. I really don't know what I'm going to do with the router as of yet, perhaps surf for some router projects...anyway, if anyone uses the 892, let me know as I have some questions about setting the depth properly as the instructions don't seem to be working for me. Thanks in advance! Scott |

| Registered User Forum King | Hi Scott When you get the new table, post a coiuple of pictures. The wood chips will fly then ![]() There are some members on the forum that can do most anything with a router and table. I always looked at it as a tool I use in conjuction with other tools. Looking forward to some pictures. John

I'm new here myself, but not to woodworking. We also have Larry Norton from the Waldorf area here as well.
