I am building a teardrop trailer and just got a router and a flush trim bottom bearing bit. Hope I said that right cause I have no clue what I'm doing! I am using a template on the bottom and my first try on some scrap ply- 3/4"- well, at least I didn't get hurt. Almost got my wife though. I used a router once 30 years ago w/the same results. Any veos or ? or just keep practicing?

Welcome, you are definitely in the right place. My suggestion is to find Bob and Rick's Router Workshop on the Woodworking Channel. They will show you just how to use a template or jig to achieve the desired results. -Derek

Welcome to the forums Leo. Do work "SAFE" and enjoy your woodworking. Maybe you could post some pics of your trailer? Seems I remember someone else building a tear drop trailer.
