| Registered User New Member | I heard about the Router Forum from the lady that answers the phones at Oak Park Enterprizes. I am fairly newly retired and want ing to do something creative and that will keep me out of my wife's hair. My name is Art Zaporozan and we recently emigrated to Saskatchewan from Alberta. I got turned on to the Router Workshop series and since we cancelled our Satillite TV for the summer, my wife and I have sat for many educational hours watching Bob and Ricks DVDs and even the one on the Miter Gauge. I have a few questions that I would like input on. 1) What is your experience with the router table from Oak Park Enterprizes? I have read all sorts of reviews on Kregg, Sears, Bosch etc but have never seen a word re: Oak Parks table. 2) I eventually want to have two routers, one stationery and one mobile. What are your recomendations for a router? I have a freind whoj has the Bosch dual base system and another who just recently purchased a Freud. I am seriously considering Hitachi's new version of the MV12. That is a fair amount for the first time. Thanks in advance for your help. There was a message frm Mark just after I registered. Couldn't bring it up. Sorry. Echo Driver |

| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | Hello Art and it is good to have you join us here at the Router Forums. I have the Oak Park router table set up and most of the acceaaories that go with it. I love the simplicity of this model and how it allows you to work without a lot of complicated set up and with limited knowledge and experience. I do not have a recommeded router to endorse, but I do love my Dewalt 618 and it fits my needs very well for the way I like to work. The models you listed will all work well for you and it would be best to try to see each in person to see which feels best in hand prior to make a purchase if at all possible. Jump in and make friends and enjoy the fun here at the forum.
