Default I am new but have a specific need

I am new but have a specific need; as attached diagram; thanks

its a need for a special jig setup or maybe my lack of knowledge suggests it can be done with normal router?; someone mentioned templates but not sure what they are?

If I'm reading your attachment correctly, you already have the templates in metal and in correct size?
Trace that on mdf making your pattern 1/8" larger, perhaps use a flush trim bit for correct sizing?
