Seasons Greetings all... first timer here, so have patience, lol... i am wondering if anyone has built a router lathe. i have very limited use of one arm. as a result i am trying to simplify things. any help, on this or anything else that might be of help, will be greatly appreciated ... George

You could mod. the unit with a base board under the router so you could use one hand to run it.
The tool will move the router to the left or the right with one crank on the end.
But you could also do the same with a router table and a power feed unit to push the stock by the router bit.
Power feed units are not cheap but the Stockroom.com has a new one that you may want to take a look at.

There is another brand that has a machine which used a router mounted on rails for custom spindles and such. Odds are I read about it in The Wood Workers Journal about 2-3 years ago. You might try searching their site for information.
