Default Graph paper

I rarely build anything to a plan. Usually I see a picture of something I want to make and draw my own plan.

Can't remember what I was searching for when I found this site, but it has lots of graph and/or lined paper. You specify the dimensions and it generates a PDF that you can print. Hope you find it useful.http://incompetech.com/beta/plainGraphPaper/

A very good tool Rusty. Pity it doesn't do 13 x 19". I downloaded the 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 PDF's.

I just go to a simple program, included in most PC systems, called Paint
I have two files that I start out with depending on what I want to draw... a Horizontal and a Vertical layout.
The first thing I do is open one of them and then Save As what I'm drawing (so I don't mess up my original Ruler page)
Then, I just drawing rectangles, etc. to scale, using the Ruler cooridinates...
My screen resolution is 800x600 and when I print it, it remains to scale to the paper. Works great! When I want to change something, it's simple, and easy to print a revised drawing at anytime.

Attached, are the two BMP files I use...
I had to reduce the pic. size in order to upload... if anyone wants the full size one, let me know & I will email them to you.
Attached Images
File Type: bmp Ruler2X.bmp (21.9 KB, 47 views)
File Type: bmp Ruler3VX.bmp (21.9 KB, 51 views)

There is software for the PC called "gpaper" that prints many kinds of graph paper including isometric drawing paper. As I recall, the last freeware version is good enough, and a newer unregistered copy is also very capable without buying the fancy stuff which has scientific graphing and I don't remember what else.

Hi Jeff

Let me see if I got this right,,, You said ,you can't read a ruler or a tape measure and you don't like to use plans ...

You must be the guy that built my house

I don't have one square corner or a plum wall anywhere in house
