morning
im looking for a chart on carriage bolts that tells you what drill size to use any help thanks.

Hi delirous26

No chart for carr. bolts that I know about ,the norn is a 5/16" carr.bolt takes a 5/16" drill bit but if you want to use the square shoulder in steel lets say you would use the next bigger size in a number/letter drill bit so the sqaure shoulder of the carr.bolt can seat in easy but still lock the bolt in place.
