nails

dont know if i'm in the right place to ask this question. i'm makeing wooden crosses that has nails mounted on the face of it.the nails i'm looking for are square shank probably 5/16and they are spiral and two sizes 8" &10"long if anyone can help me find these i would appreciate it i can find round shank spiral,but reather have the square.

I'm not sure where you can get the big ones but you can make your own easy if you have a torch, just heat the sq.rod up and with a big hammer and nail it a time or two then just turn it with a wrench ..then put it the vise and put on the mush room head with the hammer...

Maybe search antique or railroad spikes? Square landscape spikes? Timber nails possibly will return something.

Masonry nails can be square, and can be found in the 4" length, but I don't know about 8"

This is the closet I have found so far. Only 6" though, ask this person you never know he may have 8" also, just not listed.
