Makes sense to use this kind of road train in Australia. Long distances between towns. More destinations than is practical for regular trains. Not sure I want to be anywhere neare one of those things. How could you ever keep the wheels aligned so you don't have wandering trailers?

Thats a good place for them, Harry, glad they are outlawed here. It would probably be cheaper here to build a dedicated road for them instead of these outrages mass transit lines they are building that will never recover the costs.

Harry, I would imagine that they are used for hauling things to the outback. Land that is flat as a pool table and straight roads, if any, for miles. That rig wouldn't work in downtown Sidney or Melbourne. G'day, mate!
