Angry Black and decker routers last one I'll buy!!!

I bought a Black and Decker router just 3 weeks ago a FS1000RF I wanted to get the adapter so I could use my router brass bushing set. Well I told them to order the adapter and I got a phone call from the service department that the router that I purchased just 3 weeks ago is discontinued. I just can't believe so I went to there web site and I found out that a dewalt part number DW 6188 supposably work for this plunge router. If it don't its back to where I bought. I knew this would happen should have stuck with porter cable but they are pricey and for as much I'd use this router the price was right. It was mostly my fault though for not researching the router but I thought the price was right I'll probably take it back and save the money for a better model like a nice porter cable. They didn't leave me down yet.

I know big changes are in the works, but as of this moment B&D is still the home owner version of the DeWalt commercial power tools, and since they now own Porter cable and Delta I guess the sky is the limit. I have a hard time understanding how a made in China home owner grade tool company can profit enough to buy the industry leader in American made power tools. All we can do is hope for the best.

Sorry to all the B&D fans out there I must say that I stuck my foot in my mouth I should have been upset with lowe's on this one I emailed them on the subject above and I talked to the store manager today of my disappointment with buying a discontinued tool from there store. Well needless to say it's going back I asked if they sold the adaptor for the template guides and first I baffled them and then I was told "no we don't" a real disappointment to add more insult to injury for there tool department. It's going back tomorrow I'm going for either the Hatachi or a Porter cable brand.
