Talking Finally got to play today

Got the cob webs off my planer, and jointer, mitersaw today yes I worked some wood up today for another shelf and it's my own shelf not the wife or the kids it's all mine. Finally a project for me and what a pain I'm using hemlock and there is a lot of shake in the boards so I glued them all up and tomorrow do some sanding and some routing. I'm going to try some the bits from the big set to see what they do to it anything I go with should be nice. Any recomendations on what profile to do the face of the shelf is more then welcome. I just experimenting it will be a conversation piece. I don't know if it will be a good or bad conversation but it is my own.

LOL Glenmore good to hear you are making saw dust again. I would use the Round over bit. I have 2 3/8" Round Overs that stay mounted in my routers all of the time. So I guess you could say those are my favorites.

I was going to do alot of Wood working this weekend but work is interfering again. Oh well I must work to pay for my hobbie. I picked up 7 more pallets this morning and am anxious to try out my new Cyclone lid on my planer.

Keep us posted.

Randy got the shelf done today I decided to round them over. I just seen your post today after the build. You must have espn because that's what I used. I stained it with minwax black walnut and wiped it down as I stained it came out really nice really brought the grain out. Tomorrow I'll put a polly finish on it. To really make it shine.

Good to hear Glenmore.

I finally made it home from work after having Hurricane duty for 24 hours. We made out fine but New Orleans took a terrible hit.
