Default What is the wierdest thing in your shop?

I've been accused of being a pack rat or junk collector by lots of folks. They don't see the potential of some of the objects I save. Most wind up in projects of some sort, and look pretty good when done.

That being said, I do have a couple of stragglers that have been living in the garage for a while without inspiring me as to what they are to become.

Is anyone else out there a junk collector? What item sitting in your shop makes your significant other groan, or visitors ask "where did you get that?"
What 'treasured find' is your pride and joy? Please post pictures if you can, I think it would be a hoot to see what others have aquired.

Here's a couple of mine. The hydrant is the one that sparks the most questions, the bronze propeller is my pride and joy! I still can't think of how to incorporate them into anything my wife will let me put in the house......

Considering I down own a shop, I'll substitute "shop" for "work area", therefore, moldy food.

I have two antique cast-iron shaved ice machines, that I'm going to restore (one day) I have most of a VTR1000F motorcycle in various pieces, in boxes (spares for the real bike)..... how's that for a start?

Probably several lengths of (NEW) plastic sewer pipe. They are used for the source materials for making custom CV joint, boot guards for Quads. I've done a few sets for friends because usually the factory boot guards are a joke in terrain rougher than a hay field. When my boot guards fail, it usually acompanied by a rapid dismount over the handlebars. (Just a reminder that you are getting too silly)
