Lobby The place to chat about whatever suits your fancy. This could be the electric dog polisher you just bought, the weather, anything goes (within the limits of good taste).

Router is still my name is on a distinguished road

Default Well, another stupid accident. Close call

Just got six stitches right above my right eyes. No eye protection. I never learn, Truly a miracle.
Half inch lower and I’d be wearing an eye patch for life. Now there will be a scar. : (
Just when you think it’s impossible for an accident to happen, it will happen no matter how careful you are. And if anyone here has a moment of stupidity like I often do and not wear eye protection just remember this.
Work safe!!!

Oh wow, sorry to hear that Router, I'm glad to hear that you're okay and that the injury wasn't life time.

I have a mangled push stick that I keep as a reminder of what can happen. I was trimming some boards to width and I have no idea how my foot slipped. The next thing I knew I was holding a plastic push stick with the end chewed to splinters. Better that cheap push stick than my hand! ALWAYS think safety first! Keep your safety glasses by the light switch for your shop and put them on every time you enter. It's a habit you will be happy to live with.
