Lobby The place to chat about whatever suits your fancy. This could be the electric dog polisher you just bought, the weather, anything goes (within the limits of good taste).

Default New Woodcraft store

One of my local Woodcraft stores recently moved into a larger building, about twice the size they had before. Thewoodworkingchannel.com is playing on monitors around the store, and look! There is Rick making some sawdust! Talk about a kid in a candy shop! As you can see by the photos they have a whole row of Whiteside bits, a row of Woodcraft bits, a couple fair sized cases of CMT bits, an aisle of Woodcraft bit sets, lots of Benchdog stuff, a super classrom and huge wood selection. This doesn't even touch on the power tools, finishes, hardware... I wonder if the owner will adopt me?

Mike. If your store is like mine (here in Dayton,OH). They also have a small library of "Shopnotes" or maybe "Fine Woodworking" that you can look at. They also have DVD's of woodworking projects and using woodworking tools. They have a DVDV & VHS player hooked up so you can watch them. I always go there when the better half takes some sewing lessons around the corner from the store. They are a really nice bunch of guys here. Your store does have a much bigger classroom than ours. AND no, the owner will NOT adopt you. I've already tried.
