| Registered User Dedicated Member | I was curious if people had ideas (and Bob & Mark wanted their ideas) on different ways to improve "The Router Workshop". For example, I was happily watching the show the other day when my wife walked by and said "They should really add some character, it's sure boring" After making her apologize for her blasphemy and defending the show, it did get me thinking, it is a very technical show without much pizazz. Perhaps having a comentator doing some "Play by Play" would make it more helpful and interesting. Another thought was that they could have guest speakers occasionally. What do you think? Any other ideas? my $0.0002 cents worth. |

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | Please no PIZAZZ. Some people don't like to watch soccer they think it is boring, for me it is non-stop action. All a mater of how you see it. I do find the show a little uneven I'm guess it is in the editing, you see then do 10 pieces all the same then rush through a set-up that I don't quite catch but again that is me. If I had to improve it I would like to see more shows or longer show or both...... my $0.0002 cents worth Ed |

| Registered User Forum Fanatic | I love the show. If I could change anything - I would allow for some segments to show the construction of (some of the) jigs they use. It would be nice to have more time at the end to cover construction techniques used (glue-up, etc). As far as personality - I think there is plenty of Pizzaz in refering to a "fine adjustment tool", or other quotable quotes in the program... wouldn't change a thing. Things I would like to see if they could get away with it: * pc890 techniques / best known methods * an episode on their table, how they constructed it (I have the CD - but others would benefit), and how they use the vacuum system, bars, sleds, etc... * a router comparison show. what minimum standards they would recommend for freehand work, table routing, etc.. E.G. "We find that a 2.5 hp router is plenty strong to route panels, etc.. in a table mounted setting" * An episode that has out-takes... ![]() |

BTW, can you imagine football players having to run like soccer players?
