| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | Well on June 18th got the call at 9:30 that my mom has passed away. I can finally talk about it. It was pancreatic cancer found that out after she passed. She went back in the hospital on the Friday before thought she had a stroke she couldn't finish sentences and didn't know who anyone was. They did a cat scan on her brain to check and found that she was having swelling of the brain because the cancer progressed to there. She just a week proior found out she was that sick and was suppose to get her first dose of chemo when she passed. I still can't say the other word yet. At least she is in no pain no longer the worst was the thought of her suffering. Now she is at peace and I'm slowing coming back to terms with it.

| Registered User Forum Geek | Glenmore, I'm very sorry for your loss. I too lost a parent due to cancer, and remember the pain like it was yesterday. Don't be afraid to share your grief with friends and family, they will understand. Brian

My mother was also taken by cancer - so some of us know the feeling. When you think of your mom - just remember: Do not cry because its over - Smile because it happened. We can cry when we think of someone being gone - but gosh - just think of all the things that were wonderful about your mom - then smile. Larry
