| Registered User Supreme Forum King | I have been ask several times how to post images so here is an example. (Attachment 1) In this case I started this thread and what you see in the first attachment is the window I'm typing in. If you scroll down you will see the rest of this window (Attachment 2). Here is where you click the Manage Attachments button. This will bring up the place where you pick your image to attach. Click on the Browse... button as seen in Attachment 3. Pick the file you want to upload, the different types are listed. When you click open after selecting the file you either pick more files or click the upload button. It take a little time for the upload to happen depending on the file size and your link speed. (Attachment 4). If the image is to large you will get an error message saying that. I don't off hand remember the maximum size but it is about 95 KB or so. If everything is OK then the file will appear as shown in attachment 5. Click the close this window button when you have all the files attached and uploaded. You can go back and add more attachments or click the Submit New Thread button. (Attachment 6) I hope this helps. | Registered User Forum Geek | But, Ed, how do you get the photo to appear right in the message, as some do? I haven't figured that one out yet. ~Julie~ |

| Registered User Dedicated Member | When I view these images, they appear in the current browser window. I then click the "Back" button and suddenly I am off of the post I was on. Is this by design or am I doing something wrong? Now I always right click and select view in new window. Is there any way you can make these automatically appear in a new window or at least return to the previous post? |

Which is bad in my opinion, I believe the only way to get it to work would be to modify the code itself, which I'm not about to do.

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | Using Netscape it opens in a new tab........ I like the tab feature! I only use MS if I have to..... Did you get the new updated security fix that came out a short time ago. BTW you can ask that question when every you want and you will be right or at least it seems so. Ed |
